One of the key date Buffalo Nickels – of the well over 70M Buffalo Nickels minted in their first year of 1913, only over 1M were minted in San Francisco after the reverse hub change to counter fast wear of “FIVE CENTS”. Buffalo Nickels can be a bit of a dull piece at times, but not when they’re fresh original and lustrous like this!
Plenty of luster. Only a few flaws in strike and planchet. Die crack Obverse nose. No significant contact marks. Some faint toning in hidden areas.
